Aggregate equipment manufacturer’s new Nordberg GP550 cone crusher and C3054 wide-jaw crusher are the newest to join its product lineup. The GP550 crusher allows an installation height of 9.2 ft and has a top power output of 471 hp. New lube systems, pumps and bearings boost reliability, says the producer. Undercarriage coating
Eliminates Bushing Turns
What this heavy equipment supplier calls a "metallurgical breakthrough" may cut undercarriage costs significantly on crawler dozers. Bushings coated with the new SC-2 technology are compatible with existing John Deere dozers as well as several other brands, the producer says. The coating offers corrosion-resistance similar to chrome plating but is 25% harder. Crawler Crane
120-Tons
Equipment manufacturer’s new Model 12000 crawler is the largest of six cranes imported into North America under a licensing agreement with Japan-based Kobelco Cranes Co. Ltd. Built this year on a new platform developed since the 2003 import deal, the lattice-boom crane lifts up to 120 tons with a 230-ft-long, main boom reeved with a 10-part line. A Mitsubishi turbo diesel engine supplies 332 hp at 2,000 RPM. The crane offers up to 310 ft of reach with optional luffing attachments.
